About Us
Pearl Griffin Memorial Latch Key Program began in 1983 as a local mission project of the Union Presbyterian Church located in Brownwood. At that time volunteers devoted their afternoons to give special care to a group of young children. Since that time, physical changes have taken place to best meet the needs of the children.
- In 1991, the program expanded to the First Christian Church to accommodate the younger children.
- In 1995, the older children began meeting at the Family Service Center (Community Connections)
- In January 1999, the entirety of the program (including all ages) began meeting at the First Christian Church.
